If individuals, organizations and agencies wish exclusive use of a park facility, they should obtain a permit. Upon receipt of your permit application and the applicable fees, and pending review, you will receive a permit. We ask that you please secure the location before planning the event. Please note that you should not assume you have use of an area until you have received the permit.
You must have the permit with you on the day of the event. Separate permits will be required for each permitted location that you choose and will be billed accordingly. For example, if you wish to use the Lilly Pond and the Rose Garden at Thornden Park, two separate permits are required, and there will be two permit fees of $50.00 each per 4 hours. All checks payable to Commissioner of
Finance. Please note there will be a $20.00 service charge for returned checks.

Your request should include the park, date(s) and time(s) you want. Once your letter is received, it will be reviewed, and pending approval, there will be a meeting with the Special Events Division to review the Public
Programs Guidelines Handbook.
